Overall, it’s good and does what I need, but I’ll be honest, it can feel a little too heavy sometimes. I don’t want to knock it too much because it’s not a bad product, but if you’re like me and try to avoid carrying extra weight around, it’s something to keep in mind.

I wore this gear most of the day it was way more comfortable than I expected. It took a bit of fiddling to get it adjusted right at first, so I’m blaming whoever runs this for not making that part a little more obvious. But once it was set, it didn’t really rub or bother me much at all. No major complaints so far.

i ordered a specific size and color from fhfgear.com, but when the box showed up it had a different one inside. the packing slip actually listed the right item, so i’m not sure where things went sideways.
customer service did get back to me, which i appreciated, but i still had to go through the hassle of returning it and waiting for the right thing. the gear itself seems solid, but the order mix-up was disappointing.

My first time using the site was kind of annoying. It loaded slowly, my cart kept acting weird, and I didn’t get clear shipping info until way later in the checkout process. I still ended up placing the order, but it definitely wasn’t a great first impression.

The gear is solid and feels well-made. I’m happy with the quality overall. I just wish the prices were a bit lower, but sure, it’s fine. Totally fine...

It fits okay, but it definitely runs a bit snug. I can still wear it and it works fine, but I was hoping the sizing would be a little more comfortable. Not terrible, just slightly disappointing.

I wasn’t sure how much I’d like it at first, but it worked well. The pockets were easy to reach when I needed them, which was actually more useful than I expected.

I really wanted to like this harness, but for me the straps were just not feeling great after a while. On my shoulders they rubbed, and the fit felt kind of awkward no matter how much adjusting I did.

The build seems fine enough, but comfort is a big thing for me, and this one didn’t really get there. Maybe for someone else it works better, but with me it got annoying quick.

I’ve tried a few pieces from FHF Gear now, and they all feel really well made. The materials don’t feel cheap at all, and the stitching looks clean and sturdy. I’ve had them out in the field and they’ve held up great so far. One strap was a little stiff at first, which is why I’d knock off a star, but overall I’m impressed. Definitely gear I’d buy and use again.

I ordered from fhfgear.com i’ve felt good about it so far. The bino harness just feels solid in a way I can’t really explain, like everything is staying where it should and I’m not constantly thinking about stuff bouncing around or falling out. The retention was a little stiff at first, but it eased up after some use. Shipping was totally fine too. I’m knocking off one star because getting the fit dialed in took a little messing with, but overall I’ve got a strong good feeling about it.

Not gonna lie, I was hoping this setup would keep my gear a lot more organized, but it didn’t really work out that way for me. The smaller stuff still ended up getting mixed together, so I found myself digging around more than I wanted to. It might be totally fine for someone else, but for my setup, it didn’t really solve the organization issue.

It took me a few tries to get the fit just right, but once I dialed it in, it felt really good. I’ve worn it through the day and it stays comfortable without needing much readjusting.

I mostly focused on the pockets, and they just don’t work for me. The storage layout feels awkward, and whenever I put stuff in, it somehow ends up buried or hard to grab. Maybe the rest is fine, but that part really stood out to me.

I do like that FHF Gear gives you a lot of ways to set things up how you want. The modular pieces are genuinely useful, and it’s nice being able to move stuff around depending on what kind of trip you’re going on.
That said, figuring out what parts I actually needed was more of a project than I expected. And of course, once you start adding the little extras, the price climbs quickly, which is always a fun surprise.

Overall, it works fine and feels well made, so I can’t really complain too much. I just wish it had been a little more straightforward from the start. Solid enough, but not exactly amazing. 3 stars.

The site looks nice and is easy to get around, so I didn’t have much trouble finding things. I just wish the product pages weren’t so crowded because after a while it felt a bit clunky to browse. The filters worked fine, but I was expecting them to be smoother, and I kind of regret assuming the shopping experience would feel more polished overall

I had a small issue with my order and started getting nervous that I’d be given the runaround or fooled somehow. I emailed customer service and they got back to me quickly, which made me feel a bit better. It did take a little longer than I was hoping to fully sort everything out, but they were polite, kept me updated, and did end up fixing the problem. Overall it was a good experience, just not totally perfect.

I was browsing around and checked out a few things, and the prices kind of stopped me. Like, maybe the gear is good, I’m not saying it isn’t, but I kept looking at what you actually get and thinking… eh, I don’t know if it’s worth that much. There are other options out there that cost less, so it was hard for me to justify spending more here...

The return process was annoying 😕. It felt like way more of a hassle than it needed to be, and the exchange took much longer than I expected.

I was really hoping this would work well for backcountry use, but it felt bulky to carry around. It also didn’t seem as tough as I expected, which is a BIG deal when you’re relying on your gear out there.
